Western’s emergency weather siren system will now be tested at noon every Friday, starting this week.

In addition to ensuring the siren’s effective operation, this regular testing will help ensure campus and surrounding community members are familiar with Western’s severe weather warning system. In a real weather emergency, when the siren is activated, individuals need to seek immediate shelter.

Visit Western's Emergency Weather Siren webpage to find out what to do in an actual acute weather situation.
