The Western community is mourning the death of Patrick James Drummond, a second-year Political Science student, who died Dec. 27.  A memorial service was held on Jan. 3.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Sylvia and Michael; and brother, Andrew.

In his first year at Western, Patrick was a resident in Saugeen-Maitland Hall and continued to enjoy university life off-campus with his roommates and friends. He followed a family tradition attending Western.

In remembrance to a young man who loved his family and friends, and who had a great passion for music, travel and sports, Western will lower the flag on University College from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, in Patrick’s honour.
