Nominations open for staff representative on Senate

Nominations and applications are now accepted for an administrative staff representative on Senate. The prospective candidate will replace Shari Nemirovsky (Office of the Registrar), who resigned from the university, for the May 1, 2013-June 30, 2014 term.

Nominations/applications must contain the candidate's name, title, contact information and a short statement from the candidate indicating the reason why (s)he might be interested in Senate's work. All employees of Western in full-time continuing positions are eligible to participate. 

Applications and nominations can be submitted via email to Erika Hegedues, associate university secretary, at erikah@uwo.ca by 5 p.m. Friday, March 22.

An ad-hoc nominating subcommittee will meet during the week of March 25 to review the applications/nominations. The final candidate is expected to take up his/her seat starting in May 2013.
