New facilities mean new opportunities for those seeking part-time employment as Hospitality Services hosts its annual Job Fair 9-11:30 a.m. and 12-3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 in Room 100, London Hall (1140 Western Road, near Sarnia Road).
With the opening of two new facilities, Ontario Hall and Richard Ivey Building, as well as accommodating the needs of other areas in the division, there are potentially 100 part-time positions to be filled this fall.
Seeking “dynamic and innovative individuals,” Janet Smith, Hospitality Services marketing manager, said experience in the hospitality industry is an asset, but not a requirement as the division offers a comprehensive training program.
At the fair, job-seekers will find displays highlighting the various operations and services provided as well as meet current staff to answer any questions that may arise. All candidates interested in joining the team will receive an initial interview.
Applicants are asked to bring their resume and references to the Job Fair.
