The Wellness Series continues for Western staff and faculty in 2012 with a lunch hour presentation on Eldercare Essentials presented by FSEAP, providers of Western’s Employee Assistance Plan.

Eldercare Essentials: Coping with the Stress of Caregiving

Dec. 13, 2012 from 12:00 to 1:00pm - Support Services Building, Room 4210
Caregiving for your aging parent(s) can be rewarding and challenging. We are often faced with hard decisions about what is best for them and ourselves. Managing our schedule to accommodate the demands of everyday living can become stressful all on its own. All too often we put our own needs last. You may be sleeping less, eating lunch on the run, multitasking and feeling overwhelmed. You are not alone.
This workshop will assist participants in exploring the potential rewards and stressors in caring for an aging parent, while providing timely, practical tips on positive coping strategies.

These presentations are made available to Western employees at no cost. Feel free to bring your lunch.  Registration is not necessary however room capacity is limited.
