We want to see what you see!
Posting your photos to the Web has recently become a very popular way to share what you see with others. Like written blog entries, photoblogs tell a story over time and allow you to share your impressions with others.
The Department of Communications and Public Affairs at Western has set up two photoblogs that will show you some of the things that are going on in our community.
Selections of our own photos from our reporters and photographers, as well as those submitted to us through the projects we manage appear in an "At Western" photoblog. Here we maintain photos taken on campus related to news stories or events as they take place, with occasional shots of our beautiful campus through the seasons. If you would like to use any of these photos for projects of your own, please contact us.
A second photoblog overlaps the first in that it is a "group" photoblog. Any member of the Western community can post photos here! To do so, you need a Flickr account (they're free, and you get 20MB to store photos each month), and then find our pictures to add your own.
Photos submitted to the group photoblog will be considered for a "Photo of the Week" to appear on the University home page with credit to the photographer. If you don't have a Flickr account, you can submit your photos to firstname.lastname@example.org. Check the Weblogs at Western home page to see if this week has a theme.
Send us your photos!
