Affiliated University Colleges - Alternate Routes for Aboutown Shuttle Buses

The following routing will be utilized in the event of a strike on Western's main campus.

King's - leave King's proceed south on Waterloo to Huron, West on Huron to Richmond, North on Richmond to Windermere, West on Windermere, South on Western Rd into Brescia.

Stops will be at King's, Huron and Richmond, Richmond Gates, Huron College, entrance to Brescia, and in front of Brescia.

Brescia - leave Brescia, proceed up the hill toward Western, North on Western Rd, East on Windermere, South on Richmond, West on Epworth to King's.

Stops will be at Brescia, 3/4 of the way up the hill to Western Rd, Western Rd and Elgin, Richmond near 1231 Richmond, and King's.

King's Bus 1 will leave five minutes prior to existing leave times, and Bus 3 will maintain the existing leave times, Bus 4 leave time will be delayed five minutes from all existing leave times to pick up stragglers. King's buses will stay at Brescia until the next scheduled leave time.

Brescia bus 2 will leave five minutes prior to the existing leave times, and Bus 5 will maintain the existing leave times, Bus 6 will delay from all existing leave times by five minutes to pick up stragglers. Brescia will stay at King's until the next scheduled leave time.

The routes that currently exist offset the pick up times of buses 5 & 6 and buses 3 & 4 by approximately 5 minutes because of routing. In the proposed schedule, the delay of bus start times for both buses 6 & 4 accomplishes the same thing.

Bus 7 will follow the same routing as above and will maintain the existing schedule.
