Vandervoort lauded for aging research

Faculty of Health Sciences professor Tony Vandervoort has won the prestigious Herbert A. de Vries Research Award for 2010 for distinguished research in the field of aging.
 
The Herbert A. DeVries Research Award is given by the Council on Aging and Adult Development, American Association for Physical Activity and Recreation (AAPAR). AAPAR is an association of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD). This is the twenty-first year for the DeVries Research Award.
 
This award will be officially presented during the 21st Annual Symposium on Research on Aging which will be held during the AAHPERD National Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 18, 2010.
