Business is facing the "perfect storm." Our climate is changing; economies are failing; and social inequities are ever present. This poses unforeseen risks and opportunities for business and society at large.

In response, the Richard Ivey School of Business Sustainability Initiative Team, supported by the Centre for Building Sustainable Value, presents "Steering into the Storm," a one-day sustainability conference 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 in Ivey, Room 1R40.

Through individual presentations and a panel discussion, world-renowned leaders from government, business and academia will share their insights on how best to steer into the storm. Scheduled to attend are Adrienne Clarkson, former Governor General; Mark Jacobson, Stanford University professor; Nick Parker, Cleantech Group executive chairman; and Ron Dembo, ZeroFootprint founder and CEO.
