Ralph Nader to speak at Western

Consumer advocate, lawyer and author Ralph Nader will be speaking at Western March 15.
 
Nader will talk about ‘Canadian Independence: Salvation or Sacrifice to Canada-U.S. Relations’ beginning at 5:15 p.m. in Natural Sciences Centre, Room 145. The event will also be live-streamed.
 
Nader has been named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential Americans in the 20th Century and has run in three U.S. presidential campaigns, most recently 2008.
 
Tickets are available online and will be $5 for students and $10 for non-students. The event is presented by Western’s Canada-U.S. Institute, along with the University Students’ Council.
 
Nader will participate in a book signing following his talk at 6:50 p.m. in Natural Sciences Centre, Room 7.
