Larry Wynant named Acting Dean at Ivey

Larry Wynant, Associate Dean, Programs, and Professor of Finance, has been named Acting Dean of the Richard Ivey School of Business from July 1 to December 31, 2008, as Dean Carol Stephenson takes a study leave prior to beginning her second term.
 
Wynant holds degrees from the University of Manitoba, Ivey and the Harvard Business School.  His principal areas of research include commercial lending and financial structuring, and he has written several books and many case studies in these areas.

At Ivey, he has been MBA Program Director, Finance Group Coordinator, Associate Dean for Executive Development.
 
He was Executive Director of Ivey's Hong Kong campus from 1999-2003 and a leader in the development of Ivey's presence in Asia.
