In Memoriam - Harold Stewart

The flag will be at half-mast on Saturday, Nov. 7 until 11 a.m. in memory of Professor Emeritus Harold Stewart, who died Nov. 1 at Victoria Hospital.
 
Stewart, 88, was the former Dean of Graduate Studies and had 30 years of service at Western before his retirement in 1986.
 
Stewart is pre-deceased by his wife Pauline (Blake) Stewart and his brother Gordon Stewart and his wife Dorothy.
 
He is survived by his daughter Ann Limpert and her husband Bradley of Toronto, and grandsons Joshua and Noah.
 
Friends will be received by the family from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Nov. 6) at the A. Millard George Funeral Home (60 Ridout Street South in London), where a memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m.
 
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Harold Stewart Memorial Fund c/o Department of Biochemistry, Medical Science Building, Room 342, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Western Ontario, London, ON, N6A 5C1.
