Family law work honoured

James McLeod
 
UWO law professor James McLeod was honoured by the Ontario Bar Association recently with the 2002 Award for Excellence in Family Law to recognize his exceptional contribution to the field of family law.

McLeod has been a member of the Faculty of Law since 1972.

He is a member of the London law firm of Mamo & Associates, specializing in Family Law, and also teaches at the Ivey School of Business, the National Centre for Management Research and Development, and the London Bar Admission course.

He has written and spoken extensively in the areas of support, and property distribution. His primary teaching interests are in Family Law, Children's Law and Conflict of Laws. He has also taught and written in the fields of Insurance, Restitution, Private International Law, Commercial Law, Agency and Partnership, and Fiduciary Obligations.
