Busk for Darfur

University of Western Ontario students and buskers are performing at downtown London intersections today to raise awareness about the genocide in Darfur, Sudan.
 
Members of STAND Western (Students Taking Action Now Darfur), accompanied by street performers, are distributing pamphlets at the corners of Dundas and Richmond Streets, Queen and Richmond Streets and Oxford and Richmond Streets until 3 p.m.
           
STAND Western held a similar ‘Busk for Darfur’ event during September and more than $400 was raised along the distribution of hundreds of fliers.
