Brescia holding weekly farmers' market

Brescia University College is expanding its farmers' market into a weekly event with locally grown produce, homemade baked goods and preserves.
 
Local farmers will be bringing their fare to Brescia every Tuesday until April 6. The market has also extended its hours, opening from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 
The next market date is Tuesday, Feb. 9 in the auditorium foyer. There will not be a market during Reading Week on Feb. 16.

Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 23, the farmers’ market will move to the library foyer.
 
There is metered parking available and the Aboutown bus service will transport people and food to and from main campus and the affiliated college campuses.
