Gitta Kulczycki, Vice-President (Resources & Operations)

The varied portfolio under the Vice-President (Resources & Operations) includes Finance, Human Resources, Physical Plant & Capital Planning Services, Housing & Ancillary Services, Campus Community Police Services, Legal Services and Internal Audit.

Prior to joining Western, Kulczycki was Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer with the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario, and had been a senior administrator in the health care sector at several leading institutions across Canada as well as holding leadership roles in the private sector.

She received her MBA Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa and has an HB Commerce degree Cum Laude in Accounting, Finance and Mathematics from Laurentian University.

A Chartered Accountant, fluent in German, Kulczycki worked as the Corporate Controller for LSI Logic of Canada Inc., in Calgary, Alberta, and was a Manager of Financial Services and Taxation for Bell-Northern Research Ltd. in Ottawa, Ontario. She began her career as a Tax Specialist with Thorne Riddell (now KPMG).
