Stopping violence against women and girls

V- Day Western presents “A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant, and a Prayer” and the “Vagina Monologues” this week in support of the global movement. V-Day is an international campaign that seeks to stop violence against women and girls, and promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money and encourage existing anti-violence organizations to continue their efforts.
 
Show times for “A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant, and a Prayer” are Saturday, February 7 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, February 8 at 2 p.m at Conron Hall, University College. “Vagina Monologues” can be seen Friday, February 6 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, February 7 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 each or $25 to see both productions, and are available at InfoSource. All proceeds go to Sexual Assault Centre London and Changing Ways Women’s Community House. For more information, please contact vdaywestern@gmail.com
