Music and Politics - Classes without Quizzes

How does music influence politics? During the Cold War, the U.S. government used music as a tool to promote democratic capitalism overseas. Emily Abrams Ansari, professor in Western's Don Wright Faculty of Music, will examine these efforts alongside other political appropriations of music during this period.
