Fossils do not just tell us some odd branch of the evolutionary tree - they reveal our past when our ancestors were fish.  Seeing fossils like these reveal the deep connections we have to the rest of life on our planet.  Dr. Neil Shubin, author of Your Inner Fish: A Journey into the 3.5-Billion-Year History of the Human Body presents the 2009-2010 SCUGOG-Helen Battle Lecture on Thursday, April 8, 7 p.m. in the North Campus Building, Room 101. Admission is free and complimentary parking is available in the Visual Arts lot.
Dr. Shubin will participate in a book signing following the event. The lecture is presented by the Departments of Earth Sciences and Biology.
