Advanced Manufacturing Park moving ahead

Top experts in nutrition and exercise come together at Western on Saturday, March 20 at the 5th Annual Community Exercise and Nutrition Symposium. In fast-paced, half-hour long sessions designed to offer the latest in research and clinical expertise, those attending will learn new and effective ways to improve their bodies, their health and their outlook.
Environmentalism & Elections in Canada - March 17
March’s “Classes without Quizzes" lecture is called ‘Environmentalism and Elections in Canada: Assessing Recent Trends. Concern for the environment has grown around the world. Cameron Anderson, assistant professor of political science at Western, will explore the extent to which environmental concern is a left-right ideological issue in the minds of Canadians and assess the impact of environmentalism on the ways in which citizens view and vote for Canada’s major political parties.’ The lecture takes place Wednesday, March 17 at the Civic Garden Complex, 625 Springbank Drive. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the lecture begins at 7 p.m.
